Guest guest
Vanakkam! Should you not be aware, I have found the following bookstore to have the best selection of books on topics that would be of mutual interest at least in Madras: Jayalakshmi Indological Book House, 6 Appar Swamy Koil Street (upstairs) (opposite Sanskrit College... Mylapore 600004). Also the proprietor and his daughter are most delightful people and more than willing to be of service. I have never gotten the exact name, but during Navarthri a special puja was done in which all of the women sang devotional songs written by Dikshitar. The songs were most haunting and beautiful. If anyone knows the names of these, I would be grateful to know it; and should you be able to find a CD or tape of these being sung, I would also be most grateful. Sincerely, Mike Wisniewski tamil - "Ravi" <msr "shriimaata" Tuesday, May 23, 2000 4:33 PM Edocuments update > Sridhar - Seshagiri wrote: > > > Dear Ravi, > > > > Based on recent postings, I believe that the list of > > Sri Adi Sanakarcharya's works on the devi in volume 1 > > that are not in e-format yet are follows :- > > > > Volume 1: devI stotrANi: (13 stotrams, following 4 not done yet) > > ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ > > devIbhujaMgastotraM (28) > > kalyAnavR^ishhTi stavaH (16) > > mantramAtR^ikApushhpamAlAstavaH (17) > > gaurIdashakaM (10+1=11) > > > > Of the saMkIrNa stotrANI, i don't know which are on the devi, > > and i am assuming some of the ones below are.
