Sridhar sent me this original text, which I corrected and

converted to ITRANS. I have also supplied a brief meaning.

Please send your corrections and comments to the list.

Most of the kR^itis by paapanaasam sivan is available in

http://www.geocities.com/Athens/Acropolis/1428/

We should collect all those on ambaaL and post it to the list

(possibly with meanings).

Brief translation:

==================

pallavi

Mother, your lotus feet alone is my support, yet to take control

over me and rule me, why are you delaying?

anupallavi

The tormenting six foes (kaama, krodha, lobha, moha, mada and

maatsarya) limit me and play havoc on me. To end this and make me

worthy of thy feet why are you delaying further?

charaNam

Is it your divine will that I should be destroyed due to my fate

(puurva karma)? Is it OK with you? Have you ever seen a mother

merely witnessing her child fall without rushing to help when it

is playing? Why are you delaying save me O my mother?
