Guest guest
Contemplating on names of ambaaL is very sweet. After I referred to hriiMkaarapanjarasukhii of trishatii, kaLidaasa's OMkaarapanjarasukhii came to my mind. Also in regard to kaaladhaara, sahasranaama's chaaruchandrakalaadharaa is there. There are countless inter-linked references to HER kalyaaNa-guNa-s, if we only we had a robust memory like a hyperlinked document how nice it will be. Patanjali in his yoga suutra says that it is the nature of mind to follow a trail of thoughts*. How nice it will be if that trail were contemplating ambaaL's glories. To cultivate such a memory one has to constantly read works on ambaaL and think about them. While reading saundarylaharii recently I find some of the meanings I wrote could have been enhanced with quotes from there. AUM shriimaatre namaH * This is a key point those who meditate should keep in mind. Mind likes to jump from one thing to another. Initially it may appear like harmless variant of original thought. Alas in few seconds one will few light years away from the original object of meditation. Ravi
