Guest guest Posted June 25, 2000 Report Share Posted June 25, 2000 dear bhaktaas namaste can anybody tell if the below statement "vishnu is taamasic externally and saatvic internally, brahma is raajasic both wise and rudra is saatvic externally but taamasic internally" is to be found in any of the puraanaas which i mentioned below. the puraanas Vishnu, Naarada, Bhaagavatha, Garuda, Padma and Varaaha, Bramhaanda, BramhaVaivartha, Maarkaandaeya, Bhavishyothara, Vaamana and Bramha Maathsya, Kourma, Lainga, Skaanda, Shaiva and Aagnaeya. if any one spotted this please provide me the sanskrit shloka associated with this. it is generally said that vishnu is saatvic and rudra is taamasic . but i want to know if any thing which closely means that statement mentioned above is present in the above mentioned puraanaas. thanking every one with regards satish Send FREE Greetings for Father's Day--or any day! http://www.whowhere.lycos.com/redirects/fathers_day.rdct Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
