Guest guest
O my beloved Mother! I do not know the veda-s to praise thy glories. I know not the science of music to sing sweetly to thee with the words of shyAma krishna. The more I think, I realize how ignorant I am. Mother except the desire to worship thee I have nothing else to offer at thy feet. But is that not enough? Come quickly to be in my presence. Do not say I am not perfect yet. It is the sick who needs medicine and not the healthy. It is poor who needs wealth and not the wealthy. It is a sinner (like me) who needs thy grace and not the saintly. Come quickly to me to shower thy grace. Mother, please hide no more behind the veil of mAyA. Be silent no more. I call out to you, O my own Mother talk to me! yet you maintain a cruel silence, Is it fair O miinaaxii*. Come quickly to save lest I perish away in this misery adiyEn ambaaL daasan mari vERE gati evvarramma mahilO nannu brOchuTaku sharaNaagata raxakii niveyani sadaa nammiti nammiti miinaaxii -- * That line adopted from mAyammaa yani nE pilachitE maaTlaaDaraada (naatO) ambaa nyAyamaa miinAxyamma (miinaaxikidi) ninuvinaa vERE dikkevarunnaaru
