Please note that at present it is hosted on Geocities using

GeoPlus and URL forwarding. If you think you know of a better

host (should support Front Page extensions, and reasonably fast),

please let me know. Earlier we tried with amhosting.com and were

not satisfied (but their customer service is superb). At present

we have 25 MB of space and we use around 10 MB of that. I think

in a year we may outgrow that will have to upgrade.

At present even though the name has ambaa.org (org ->

Organization), we really do not have any charter etc. May be in

time we can write them down. Also a name for ambaa.org. I used to

refer it to as AmbaaL Devotional Resources Center (which I

originally had for my home page).

 

My understanding of this whole effort to is to collect devotional

resources on ambaaL and make it available to everyone. Resources

are two kind. One is texts and other is people. We have now 45+

members. We have to increase our membership by bringing in many

knowledgeable people. Once we have enough people, we can even

start a edited (refereed) internet (devotional) journal on

ambaaL.

 

Also whatever text we translate here, must be made free for all.

May something like GNU public license (if it exists for texts)

should be added. This is will ensure that any point of time this

will not be commercialized. More importantly it will give access

to others to work on these texts and improve it.

 

Just my ideas. I hope one day we will have all important

resources on ambaaL are available online for all, no matter where

they live and who they are.
