Guest guest
Dear Sirs I have asked to become a member of your group and you have asked me to give some information about myself. I have been a follower of Tripura Bhairavi for 25 years or since she appeared to me in a dream following my initiation. My teacher was initiated into the tradition of Tripura Sundari by Chandrasekh Harendra Sarasvati Shankaracharya of Kanchipuram in the 1960s. I also have links with the AnandaNathas and a teacher of Sri Vidya from Madras that was linked with the Ramakrishna mission there. and a connection with Tagore and his idea about Sri Vidya practices. I have been strongly influenced by Ramakrishna Paramahansa and Yogananda Paramahansa in their devotion and ability to stay still in meditation waiting for the answere from the mother and to receive it. I am a psychiatrist, married with six children three of which are long gone from the nest. My yogic name is Bhairavanandanatha or just Bhairav I have special interest in the concept of holy pilgrimage and how such pilgramage may have been planned in ancient cultures by the creation of placenames and weaving religious legends into them. This relates to geometry of placenames and links with points of reference such as Mount Meru in the Himalayas. Bhairav
