AUM shivAbhyA.m namaH

 

 

As a part of and www.ambaa.org we are planning to bring out a

magazine/journal called

 

namaH shivAbhyAm.h:

A Journal for devotional works on shiva-shakti

 

- It is an internet journal released twice a year. It will come out in

January and July. This year Volume 1 number 1 will come out in July

(hopefully).

 

- Each issue will have five full length articles.

 

- Issue will be free and available in PDF format from www.ambaa.org

 

- The articles will be protected by GNU's free documentation license

for copyright.

 

- Articles are to be submitted in MS Word.

 

- Language: English (with verses from other languages like Sanskrit,

Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, etc. but with translation in ENglish)

 

- Scope of the journal is devotional works on shiva-shakti. The

emphasis is on devotional element. It can be a translation from other

languages with commentary (but with permissions for copyright purposes)

 

 

I want your comments and suggestions. We need 3 or more editors. At

this point shrI Vishvarupaji has kindly agreed to be in the team. We

specially need one person, who can proof read and correct the English

(so that it is grammatically sound and clean).

 

Next step is to get 5 articles. I have already one in mind. If we get

(by God's grace) more than 5, we can push it to next issue. I may come

around probably. Articles must be original have correct copyright

permissions. I am going to include the 20+ page text of Dr. V.

Sadagopan's article (which I partially posted here) in completed form

(my English translation). I will seek his permission again (which he

already given me) to translate that work in a formal way for this

journal and present it here. If you have an article in mind, send me

Please note we are yet to formalize all the guidelines. Your help is

greatly appreciated. I do not want things to entirely dependent on one

person (like me). It has to be group effort. Because, I may die or quit

for some reason tomorrow (which I do not plan to, as my nADi guarantees

I will live at least 85 years) but these efforts must go on.

 

 

 

HELP SUMMARY

 

1) Need editors. We have already two, We need one or two more.

Especially one with good English langage skills.

 

2) Need articles.

 

3) Need help to form a sound editorial policy.

 

With ambaaL's grace, together we can do it.
