Which means SHE who is worshipped by lopAmudrA. In the context, the name lopAmudrA can be interpreted as: 1) lopAmudrA is the name of wife of sage agastya. She is very famous in the shrIvidyA literature. Sometimes agastya is referred to as husband of lopAmudra (like lopAmudrapatim natva in shankara's maN^gaLa shloka) 2) One of the readings of panchdashAxari is due to lopAmudrA. Hence, lopAmudrA is sometimes take to mean that particular reading of panchadashaxari. 3) lopa+mud+ra => One who blocks/transcends (ra) pleasures (mud) which are lowly or inferior (lopa) in nature. That is j~nAni-s, who transcend the lowly pleasures knowing they are futile, transient, and the cause for suffering. Other interpretations may be possible. ambaaL daasan Ravi
