Swami Vishvarupanandaji recently informed me that he

has uploaded the following stotrams/songs. I recall

that Sri Aananth wanted the Durga Kavacham in particular..

 

1. Sulamangalam Sisters - Ambaal Stotrams

(i) Meenakshi Pancharatnam

(ii) Amba Pancharatnam

(iii) Rajarajeshwari Ashtakam

(iv) Durga Kavacham

(v) Tripurasundari

 

2. Devi Stotrams (name of album)

(i) Bhuvaneshwariya - Sowmya

(ii) Meenakshi Stotram - Palani Vijayalakshmi

 

3. Kamakoti Peetha Vasini - Haridos Giri Guruji

(I absolutely love this !! It starts with the

slokam on the shrImUkapa~nchashatI page :

 

mAtA marakatashyAmA mAta~NgI madashAlinI .

kuryAt kaTAkSha.n kalyANI kadambavanavAsinI ..

 

4. Sri Raja Mathangi - SuddhaDhanyasi varnam (in the

album titled Misc; can someone identify the artist)

 

I also wanted to mention that there are many additions

to the 'Indian Music' page of Sri Sivakumar. The page is

There are literally hundreds of amazing (!!!) kritis on

that page, the recent addition being in the form of the

non-Dikshitar kritis. One can listen to those songs for

ever !! (that is what i am doing at school :-) I listened

to most of the Syama Sastri kritis, and all are excellent.

(especially love the Begada kriti Kamakshi (*) sung by

Vijay Siva. I won't say more, because i will otherwise

just keep going on and on. Also sangeetham.com now has

the lyrics for Syama Sastry and a limited number of

Thyagaraja kritis as well..

 

Many thanks to Swami Vishvarupanandaji for the recent

additions. I will try to add all the Kamalamba Navaavarana

and also the PanchabhoothaLinga kritis of Dikshitar soon.
