Though my grandmother raised me Presbyterian, I found no fullfillment, nor interest in the docterines of the Protestant church. Thankfully, an introduction world culture class brought me on a colision with Hinduism, Buddhist thought and finally with my adored goddess, Saraswati. Since then I have kept contact and discussion of my relgion and its personal meaning to a minimum. When I least expected it though, I found myself in the midst of others who followed a similar path. Meeting those friends and devotees, sharing my love and attachment with them only furthered my convictions. I am vocal now and proclaim myself as a devout (though incredibly Westernized, by pedigree) Hindu. Thank you for allowing me to join your board. As you come to know me, you'll see I'm far more complex and interesting than this short biography would indicate.
