A student at the University of Toronto has been developing such a panchAnga. I have been supplying him with rules for the calculation of dates for common festivals and observances. I will keep you posted on the status of this project. I already have the rules for the popular devI-upAsana-specific festivals such as durgA-aShTamI, sarasvatI-pUjA, VijayA dashamI, and laxmI-pUjA (Diwali). There is also a gaurI-tR^itIyA in chaitra-mAsa, but I don't have the exact rules for it. During this month-long festival celebrated in some parts of India, the gaurI-shankara couple is worshipped. If you have the rules for this and additional festivals, I would like to hear about them. Thanks. Anand
