Guest guest
Hello Further to my mail to u regarding vasantha navrathri celebrations,i furnish the following information about its significance and my way of doing it. As per my Guru'sguidance, i install three kalasas (one each for Mathangi Varahi and Lalitha) duly decorated and filled with Ganges water mixed with herbs specifically selected for each akshara of the moola manthras of deities on the first day of suklapaksha (i.e prathamai thithi ;ugadhi coincides with this day and continues for ten days) visarjana on the tenth day and ends with self abhisheka)when prana prathishta is done on the first. a kangana is ties and i will not move out of the house once it is done. beginning with mahaganapathi homam the festival starts. everday evening and morning navavarna puja for lalitha and avarana pujs s for mathangi and varahi. on the panchamiday we do varahi homa and on navami day we do mathangi homa and on ashtamiday chandi homa and on dasami day srividya homa.everyday suvasinis representing the three deities are worshipped. on the tenthday as soons as navavarna puja is completed and when nivedyam is offerred 10 or 16 suvasinies are invited and with all upachars nivedyam is directly offerred to them after that when they have been served with all sowbhagya dravyams, bali etc is given and the kalasa thirtham is poured on us(myself and my family) thus ends the festival. it would be ver very blissful. other details in my next. urs krishnamoorthy
Guest guest
Namasthe viswarupaji. after hearing from u i wished to write one instant in my life about a german saint.his name was gowribala. on his hand the word "SUMMA IRU" was written.when i was a child (age 12 years).he left german as a boy and walked to kolkatta kali temple.he was residing at Jaffna in srilanka. when my guru(father) was searching for clarification of a doubt, my dad met him and travelled along with him in a bus to kodaikanal on business. both were sitting side by side.suddenly this gentleman touched my father's lap and enquired r u searching for an answer to a doubt.astonishingly my dad said yes.this German told him to ask for a number out of 108 to my youngest sister ( Her name is Lalitha) as soon as he reached his home and see that sloka in soundaryalahari. my father did it and found answer. these are all very mysterious. The German is a stranger and how does he know that i am having an younger sister. That man was invited to our house since he was a sanyasi and mother devotee. i last met him in the year 1955 afterwards i could not see him. urs krishnamoorthy. ------Vishvarupa <vishvarupa wrote:------ >Om, >>Have we achieved a figure of 108 members in our group? i am very anxious to know about it.i would like to know the names, Nakshathras, gothram(if possible) and their photos of them. how can i get it.<< There are 93 members at present. The names you can get from the members list at /members. You'll have to log in with the ID and password you laid down when you signed up. The nakshatras etc. you can get only from the members personally. Whoever wishes to give them may send them to you personally. That is better than their posting them to the group, because the postings go into archives that can be searched publicly. Thank you for wishing to include all of us in your pujas. My nakshatra is Uttara Phalguni Nakshatra. I have no gotra from birth, since I was born to German parents, but my Guru gave me Vasishtha gotra.
