Guest guest
Respected members, There have been many lovely postings to this list on the compositions of Sri Muthuswami Dikshitar and Syama Sastry. I would like to request some of the learned members to maybe post similar notes on the compositions of Sri Oothukkadu Venkatakavi Subbaiyer, Sri Thyagaraja, Sri Gopalakrishna Bharati and Sri Papanasam Sivan. Regards, Sridhar.

But I think they are not grouped into different categories. It will be nice if someone groups them and posts the one on parashakti to this list. And it will be even better if someone provides a brief translation. This page has some nice Tamil devotional songs on ambaaL like kaRpagavalli nin poRpadaN^gaL paNindEn, and shrIchakrarAja simhAsaneshvarI in Tamil fonts, they also have in romanized form else where. http://uweb.superlink.net/vkumar/tdsa/tamil/tdsa_tam.htm There are also some kr^iti-s in Sanskrit on shrI mInAxI by Swami Dayananda Saraswati.
