Guest guest
Namaste to all, Here is a small story I read recently, actually it is a small story that Sri.RamakrishNa narrrated to his devotees to drive home a point. A little girl started weeping as she saw herself in the mirror when she was combing her hair. Her mother came to console her and asked her the reason for her weeping. The little girl tells her mother that she looks ugly and doesn't like herself because of what she saw in the mirror. The mother consoled her and takes the mirror, explains to her that she is a beautiful girl, but the mirror is very oily and dusty and she cleans the mirror in the process. The girl now looks at herself in the mirror and smiles away realizing that she is indeed very beautiful as her mother told her. Similarly, our minds are very dusty and distorted. We cannot see our true Self with a dense & dusty mind. If we intensely beg the Universal Mother to help us clean up our minds, we should be able to see our Self as to who we really are. Let us pray to that jagadAmba to help us in realizing our true identity. with respects, Savithri _______________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com
