Guest guest
In the lalitA sahasra nAma, the name "umA" appears. In this connection, it is said that the name "umA" contains the syllables of AUM (a, u , m). Is there any tradition in which a japa of umA is done just like the OmkAra japa? If time permits, I will post those lines. Commentary on this nAma runs for a page and approximately 5 lines are so are dedicated to the discussion relating it to the praNavam.
