Guest guest
Namaste , Here is the translation for the first shlokam(from shri Suprabha ji) i.e shlokam # 501 ShaShTha satakam.h -- prathama stabakaM itaH piitvaa kucaM skande prasaarita kare tataH jayati smitamudbhuutaM shivayorekadehayoH .. 1 English: Having finished drinking from the breast on this side , as skanda extended his hand to reach the other one , the smile that came on paarvati and paramEswara's faces (as they were of the same body ) became auspicious to the whole universe.. Telugu : skanduDu ii prakka nunna stanamunu traagi aa prakkaku ceyyi caapagaa ekashariirulaina paarvatii parameshvarulaku kaligina navvu lokamangalamai bhaasistundi. This work is in 1000 shlokams, divided into 10 shatakams and further each shatakam is divided into 4 stabakams. Hence each stabakam has 25 shlokas in praise of Devi. In this stbakam the first 17 shlokams are ardhanaariishvara (half male and half female form of lord shiva) stuti. with thanks to Shri Suprabha ji for translation , regards Get 250 color business cards for FREE! at Lycos Mail http://mail.lycos.com/freemail/vistaprint_index.html
