The names of 14 disciples are given below.

shriidhara,kapardhi,keshava,damodhara.

 

following are names of sanyaasi ( monks) shiShya s and their disciples

nirvaaNa

shivottama

 

3)bodha’s disciples --disciples in kerala

 

4)giirvaaNa’s disciples

mantragiirvaaNa

 

5)aananda tiirtha

 

following are the names of gR^ihasta shiShyas and their disciples.

 

6) sundara

7) viShNu sharma’s disciples

9) mallikaarjuNa’s disciples -- disciples in vindhya range

10) trivikrama – disciples in puri

11)shriidhara ‘s disciples – disciples in gauDa ,mithila&bengal

when only the names of shankaracaarya's shiShyas are given

does it mean that they did not give diikSha to anyone or does it mean their

disciples names are not known ?

 

i think disciples means those disciples who took shriividya diikSha

from shri shankaracaarya --my assumption
