One of the meanings of the word bhaga is aakaasha.(sky)

 

one devi(baalaa) sahasranama describes her as

 

bhaga madhya nivaasini. so that should mean

 

"one who resides in the centre of aakaasha( i.e daharaakaasha)"

 

and not someother meaning as given in some sites on tantra.

when there are multiple meanings the meaning is taken according to context. so

for example taking bhaga=female organs will just not make any sense here.may be

this meaning can be taken on another occasion if the context requires so.there

is a site which uses the above mentioned meaning

every where all over the text.(i.e without regard to whether it makes sense or

not).This is what i am referring to when i said the meaning cannot be something

else. i wonder what might be the reason for such interpretations.

 

if you ask the person who wrote that, you will receive a blunt answer saying

that "you dont know about culture properly due to british invasion etc.etc ..
