Guest guest
namaste Suprabha, Thanks for the corrections. I will update the file. If I remember correctly, the texts I have has it as chi~njannuupura (not shi~n) But I will verify that again. Except that whatever you have pointed out is prefectly correct. One problem of memorizing the text is whenever you read that, no matter what is written, you tend to read it correctly!! I read this text few times before posting, yet I could not catch these errors. Besides, I make a lot of errors in encoding, as I do not convert to sanskrit (often) and verify. I will try to be careful in the future. It is indeed a beautiful work. The line viiNaa naada ... quite beautifully portrays ambaaL listening to viNaa with half closed eyes, being absorbed in its melody, and SHE moves HER head in appreciation which makes HER head dress loose and come off (in Tamil, avizndha kesha bhaaram). With respects, Ravi --- saarada wrote: > , "Ravisankar S. Mayavaram" <miinalochanii> > wrote: > > shrii miinaaxii stotram.h > > namastae ravii ! > > The sloekaas are so beautiful. Thanks for posting. It is shi~njannuupura according to one of the texts I have and the other says si~njannuupura. I think whatever you have said and what is in the first text is correct. Thanks for taking your time and pointing out the errors. It is a great help for me and also for others who refer to these texts. ===== ambaaL daasan Ravi sharaNAgata raxakI nivEyani sadA ninnu nammiti mInAxI http://www.ambaa.org/ http://www.advaita-vedanta.org Get personalized email addresses from Mail - only $35 a year! http://personal.mail./
