Guest guest
dear sanjay. first we must define what is faith. it is absolute confidence that u should have. as a child how u look to ur mother when u r afraid of something don?t u look to ur mother for help. u should be certain that she would redeem us from any calamity. r u a science student? if it is so r u not certain about the gravity. conscious or unconscious does not arise. when u throw some object towards sky.u r sure that it would fall on the ground. the faith is that sort of proved facts. faith increases the belief. just like scientists analyse the material world, our rishis analysed already the spiritual world. and proved these aspects of vibrations in manthras. these vibrations r not like electrical impulses or instrumental (or tape recorded) sounds, it is full of vibrant energy of prana. prana is a vital force that acts in the medium of akasa. manthras r potent to create objects. say for example ram (Not Raam) is bija of Agni. if it is repeated and pronounced exactly as to the vibrations (Natural frequency) of agni it creates fire. to obtain this potency only we have to seek the channel of Guru. when I say water in the language of english u would at once form the image of water in ur mind since u have already been taught by ur guru and shown the substance (i,e, element of water).similarly the language of devathas r certain formation of sound waves.hence it manifests the particular devatha as indicated in the dhyana sloka. u therefore simply sonsolidate the form of devatha as indicated in the dhyana sloka for that particular manthra in ur mind and repeat the japa. to stop the influence of the other opposite forces, sankalpa, nyasa .posture.particular asana (Seat )etc r done.even particular types of dress and colour r prescribed. doing this with the blessings of guru would really work wonders. even certain discipline in intake of food. these things would accelerate ur progress and u find changes and this would increase ur faith. ok I am very happy to answer ur points I am not at all inconvenienced. urs krishnamoorthy
