Nanaste, my name is Maureen de Gooyer, I,m 44 years old, single and live in The Netherlands. By"coincidence" I came into contact with Hinduism. ( There are many Hindustani people living in Holland) It all happened last year, when a friend of mine invited me to listen to some devotional Hindi music. I absolutely loved me, and that was the start of becoming interested in hinduism. I started to read books, and go to shops where religious objects are sold. I don,t know much yet, because for me Hinduism is a very complex religion/philosophy. For me the idea of The Mother is very natural, although I respect people who have different opinions. I absolutely adore The Mother in Her form of Durga. After a couple of months my puja/meditation room will be finished , and the that will be Devi,s room. Again, I do not know very much, but I will do the best I can.
