Like using LS to get rid of diseases to get rid of evil spirits etc (ofcourse one should never use nor even think of using LS for such worldly things ,except in case of emergency).While other sahasranamas mention the benefits of reciting that particular sahasranama, most (all??) of them do not mention explicit prayogas as LS does.Generally kavacha stotra,Hridaya stotras..etc.or mantras are generally associated with prayogas.This speciality makes LS equal to a mantra and not like any other stotra. ..Added to this there are mentioned many others like mixing LS with veda mantras like "ya te rudra shiva tanu..".And the best thing is, it is very effective. also i think lalita Homam is done using LS? No human being can create any thing like LS.
