Guest guest
My namaskarams to all. I would to add something to the discussion on Hari-kesha-sakhi. Please correct me if I am wrong, I remember reading somewhere that Harikesha refers to Shiva, because one of the meanings of the word "Hari" is Gold and Kesha is hair. Shiva has golden-brown matted locks (ref "Kanaka-pingala-jatam" in Patanjali's Charana-shringa-rahita-stotram) and His Sakhi or companion/consort is Devi.
