We may also remember the uttara pIThikA of sahasranAma, saying that, enemies of the upAsaka who recites the sahasranAma, are destroyed by sharabheshvara himself. > > (to be contd.) > > AUM harikeshasakhyai namaH

True enemies are those 6 entities (for anybody). If > those inner enemies are conquered, there will be no enemies outside. That is > why yoga-sUtra-s say that near one who pratices true ahimsa. enmity will not > arise in other beings. We had a discussion sometime back about this. By enemies, both external and internal are meant. When internal enemies are destroyed there are no external enemies from "that person's" view. But,if some body tries to harm him,he will be protected by shiva.May be, that is what is meant. Sadashiva brahmendra swami had no enemies. At one time,a king tried to harm him by cutting his hands. He got that arm back due to Ishvara's(His)( because he became one) grace. regards > > > Ravi > > satyam ekam lalitAkhyAm vastu tadadvatiiyam akhaNDaartham param brahma
