Verse 3:

Mother Kamakshi at Kanchi is my

Chintamaniratna,in giving what I want!

Let She,with Her limitless Gnanananda roopa,

fundamental to the universe,

cool my heart as it is possible

only due to my poova punya

(not with my efforts now and here)

 

Chintamani = Miracle stone that gives what one wants holding

it in hand

 

Limitless gnananda roopa in the tamil text stands for

chit+suka+dara(She that flows as Blissful Consciousness,

the actual translation of the sanskrit word)

 

Verse 4:

 

A form that is full of Sowbhagyams,

belonging to (daughter of) Himavan,

the Emperor of mountain ranges ,

with curly hair (kutila+kacham) and

heavy bosom (katina+kucham),having a

smile with the radiance of Jasmine,with

saffron body-hue (kunkuma+chaaya),

is playing Lilas at Kanchi.
