It is a GREAT help. I have a request. Please go slow. If you post one verse at a time and it will give many on the list to contemplate and also give a chance to contribute. I have the same request for Sridhar also. If he posts 15 verses from three trishati-s at a time, it is difficult for many to read them all and not to say about contemplating on it. The material presented is tough and requires time even to read it correctly and understand it (superficially). This is only a request. It is up to you to take it. I am GRATEFUL to you all for such excellent contrbutions. With tons of respects, Ravi

Of all abhaaranaM-s that adorn shaMbhu, SHE is the best. How does SHE adorn HIM? By occupying one- half his body. Actually they adorn each other - paraspara aasliShTa vaapurdharaabhyAm. SHE also adorns HIM as the power behind HIM. Without HER, HE cannot even move - na khalu kushalaH spAnditumapi. nija-lochana, nija can mean continous. That is by constantly glancing at the Universe SHE protects. Because, unmeshha nimishhotpanna vipanna bhuvanaavaLii. When SHE opens the eyes, creation happens, and when SHE blinks it perishes. HER dR^iShTi is the basis for this sR^iShTi. Poet implies that SHE should protect this work constantly and making it fruitful, as SHE is protecting the Universe. In that way it is a prayer for benediction Please correct/comment.
