pañcaþaraþ~strabodhanaparam~c~ryeõa d®ÿ÷ip~tena |

k~ñcYsYmni kum~rY k~cana mohayati k~majet~ram || 5 ||

 

Verse 5:

 

The Kanchi maiden with her glance

that is in itself a great teacher of Kama shastra

of five-arrowed Manmatha,

is entrancing Parameshwara,(though he had)

burnt Kama to ashes!
