AUM shrImAtre namaH

 

This following file was automatically created using the utility

mytrans.tcl. I collected some of the material I posted here in ambaa-

l and which I use as my daily sharaNagati smaraNam, and converted

using this utility. All the files are there in following directory.

 

myTranslator

 

What does this do?

 

It converts text file with indian language words enclosed in <> to

automatically create a LaTeX file. Then if you use pdflatex, you can

create the final PDF file.

 

This utility was created for the Journal namaH shivAbhyam. Please

note that as it stands now, it is not bug free and has a plenty of

them. I spent only few hours creating it and script is not commented.

 

 

It works in two steps

 

% tclsh mytrans.tcl sharan.itx s.tex

% pdflatex s

 

This two commands on a unix system will create the pdf file, s.pdf. I

do plan to upgrade it with GUI support for Linux and Windows, but not

now. Probably in 2002.
