needed -a guru to teach SriVidya Upasana in Mumbai.

Dear Friends,

I'm a 19 year old guy residing in Mumbai. Being a devotee of the

Divine Mother Lalita Mahatripurasundari, I have an urge to be

initiated into SriVidya Upasana. I would be grateful if somebody

could direct me to a proper guru in and around Mumbai, who would

initiate me into this system of worship.

I do not know whether you received any reply in private. Here I would

like to add a word of caution, as a list does not give guru

referrals. Also it neither supports nor disputes the suggestions made

by members.

As an individual my suggestions would be:

 

 

1) Discuss this matter with elders in your family. Especially your

parents.

 

2) Contact shringeri maTha/ kaanchi maTha and seek the guidance of

the achArya. It is my personal opinion that shankara maTha-s are best

and safe place to start. They will direct you to the right place.

 

3) Pray to God for guidance. The verse 29 in shivaanandalaharI is a

very powerful prayer. It is my personal experience.

 

4) It is always better to use a lot of common sense and intellectual

reasoning before you make a decision. Authority on sAmAnya dharma,

Saint tiruvaLLuvar says about frienship (which can be extended here)

that

 

nADathu naTTalil kEDillai naTTapin

vIDillai naTpALbhavaRku

 

In essence it says you should exercise extreme caution in making

bonds (such as these and friendship), otherwise you will have no

choice but to live with the consequences.

 

These are my suggestions as a list member. I wish you the very best

and I pray to shiva-dampati to guide you to the right teacher who

will fulfil your aspirations.

Hi i am Harshith from Bangalore and non-bhramin fellow ,am sincere devotee of SRI MATHA LALITHA TRIPURASUNDARI , my heart always feels incomplete with out proper guidance or deeksha to sri vidya upasana , am searching for guru since i came to know about divine mother LALTHA DEVI when i was at my 17th year now am 21 yr old and still not found guru to guide. I feel in my past life i have done some guru droha so in this present life even though i have strong urge to be shakthya aradaka am not getting guru , plz can any one help me plzzzzz....

We know nothing about you. Where are you located? I know someone very good, who gives dikshā in Shri Vidya.

Can do the simplest thing of getting a s0adhak in touch with them . If you cannot post here, please send me  a PM

  PS:   any one who got interest in devi upasana,  already  in path of following brahman ( thats how he is called a brahmin)
