Aarathi sankaran and Ravi helped me in translating couple of words in this

verse. Thanks to them.

parayA kA~nchIpurayA parvataparyAyapInakuchabharayA .

paratantrA vayamanayA paN^kajasabrahmachArilochanayA (6)

Verse 6:

I am enchanted by

(anaya) this Paradevatha (Paraya), who

belongs to Kanchipuram,(kanchi+puraya), with

eyes that befriend lotus and with

bosom that resembles mountains.

Notes:

These two are really beautiful poems with flowing

rhymes : paraya-puraya-bharaya-manaya-lochanaya

Mother's eyes are colleagues to lotus (sabrahmachari) in learning to

enchant others
