Mother Shakti

A mother would like to be in the

know; she would like all her

children to be in her line of

vision. We may accomplish

wonderful feats and manage

to do many things which were

previously impossible; but we

remain, all of us, the children of

the mother goddess Kamakshi

or Ambal. The mother-goddess

is the mother of the whole

prapancha which has no limits.

It is, however, all within the

scope of her benevolent

vision. Therefore the kataksha

or blessings of Ambal is

limitless... Sri Adi Shankara

prays to the mother-goddess

to shower Her grace on his

person, too.
