Thanks to Shri Ravi for pointing out the mistake. I had wrongly assumed the

word to be prapanna and wrote the meaning as 'devotees'.

 

Apanna means afflicted or distressed. She is the remover of the miseries

(Arti) of those who are distressed (Apanna).......
