Guest guest
Thank you very much for the guidance. Now I got one of your referred books. Getting another shortly. I see an ocean of meaning behind each 'Akshara'. Firsttime in my life, I see a letter called 'Akshara' in Sanskrit, rightly. One more issue comes here, I read Hrsva aksharas to be pronounced in one and half mathras time.In my schooldays, (And also I write poetry in telugu, kannada using vritta chandassu)I studied Hrasvas take 1 mathra time and denoted 'laghu's. Deerghas - Gurus are taking 2 mathras - as expected by me. Is this 1 and half (or 3 halves) - each half represents a part of 'Trika' - like a world out of 3 worlds, a side of some triangle etc.? Even in trishati, we see somewhere telling 1. she is at the beginning of hrillekha, 2. center of hrillekha, and 3.at the end of hrillekha. As we are looking closely at hrillekha - magnifying it to see 3 parts in it, Are we seeing 3 parts in hrasva aksharas also? (My reference also devided ka to k+a as two parts - as expected, but not three). If we see here like this, then what about Deerghas in 'Kadi' School? How far,we can look into them? May be my second reference, I yet to get, might help me to resolve these, OR I might have missied some lines/between the lines in my current reference , as I am not so good at sanskrit. It is really wonderful to know the depth of the sound that we utter in 1.5 to 3 maathras. Rightly said, if we won't know the meaning and uttering words - is like a Donkey carrying the Sandalwood sticks on back, that are taken from the woods of Malaya hills. If we really know the meaning of sounds, No wonder, we considering everyword that we speak is in praise of Lord, considering that as mantra/parayana of devine name/qualities atleast.
