Guest guest
vinayakan wrote There are many divergent views about the no of sakthi peetas and also their location as they are found even in Bangaldesh pakistan. I have written one article about Sakthi peetams (It is in Tamil) http://www.geocities.com/angalaeswari/sakthi.htm you can view that in which I have given the list. If needed you send a reply I will send in English to you. kancheepuram is a Sakthi peetam rather three peetams are in Kanchi it is believed that Sati Devi's hip along with Kanchi (hip ornament also called Kanchi) fell at Kanchipuram. Some school thinks that there are 64 sakthi peetams and in that Thiruanaikka near Tiruchi, Madurai, Kurralam and Nagapattinam is also considered as Sakthi peetams. There is one religious magazine Gnana AAlayam in Tamil in Which a series is coming about 51 Sakthi peetams. S.Muruganandam
Guest guest
Hello angu84, I'm not able to read the Tamil fonts at the page http://www.geocities.com/angalaeswari/sakthi.htm All I see is junk characters. Am I missing something? (In Internet Properties, accessibility, I've unchecked both "Ignore document font styles" and "Ignore document font sizes"). Thanks. Regards, Ramesh.
