For a question about this name of trishatii, I mentioned that shankara

in his commentary explains that haahaa and huuhuu are two gandharva-s.

Yesterday while reading Book III - Chapter IV of devii bhagavatham, I

found a reference to these gandharva-s haahaa and huuhuu praising

ambaaL.

It is interesting to note that how some of these puraaNic legends find

a day-today usage. I have heard in Tamil a cliche "to praise like

haahaa and huuhuu" (for instance, chumma haahaa huuhuu_nnu

pugazhaatha). It often used when someone is praised sky-high.
