There is a Vaaraahi sannidhi in the Periya Udaiyaar

Temple of TanjavUr.

The deity comes from an earlier temple that was

already in existance before the Periya UdaiyAr Temple

was built by Raja Raja Cholzar.

She is a very powerful deity.

There are some mysterious events that tool place

in recent times which are attributed to Her.
