The word "harit" means cardinal points in space and "pati" means Lord. This term indicates mahendra and others who are the lords of thse cardinal points. SHE is fit to be worshipped by them with devotion and faith. SHE helps them by destroying their enemies and SHE is the deity who grants their wishes.
