Guest guest
Keelakam means the nail which holds the cart and the wheel together. but in this context it should be read as the key to unlock the secret of the heart gate and thus enter into the relams of the godess. the fulcrum point in this stotra is "dadadhi prathigrhnati' ie offer all material wealth to the devi and then act as a caretaker of her wealth. Sri Bhaskararaya also gives a detailed accpunt of how the monthly income of the sadaka should be split up and spent. Hope this throws some light Urs in Lalitha K Ramesh cimpaga <cimpaga <> Tuesday, January 22, 2002 9:07 PM meaning of keelakam >AUM shrImAtre namaH >AUM namaH shivAya >AUM namaH shivAbhyAm > > Can anyone please help me with the meaning (literal or otherwise) of the >word kIlakam in the trinity hridayam, bIjam and kIlakam? >Thanks. >Umesh > > > >AUM shrImAtre namaH >AUM namaH shivAya >AUM namaH shivAbhyAm > >Archives : http://www.ambaa.org/ (Edited) > : /messages// > >Contact : help > >Your use of is subject to > > >
