Guest guest
Dear Sri Sridhar, Thanks for the Mahamaya Ashtakam, authored by Poojyasri Ganapati Sastrigal of Painganadu. If possible, could you please send the Ashtakam in Sanskrit? Incidentally, Painganadu located near Mannargudi in Thanjavur Dist., is my mother's native place where I was born and studied. Sri Sastri was the teacher of our great Paramacharyal too. His vigraham (moorthi) is still in Painganadu. Paiganadu has also produced another greatl son who was teacher to Sri Jayendra Saraswathi Swamigal of Kancheepuram Mutt i.e. Sri R Srinivasa Sastrigal. At the old age, he too took Sanyasa and left his mortal coil last year (I think) at Kancheepuram. Sri Srinviasa Sastrigal hails from the lineage of Thoopil Sri Ratnaketa Dikshidhar (famous Meemamska) - his son Sri Raja Choodamani Dikshidhar - famous Advaidic teacher, and minister at Tanjore Govt, and his brother Sri Kesava Dikshithar was also famous. Sorry, for writing so elaborate. Regards, L Vaidyanathan ______________________ Looking for a job? Visit India Careers Visit http://in.careers.
