Namaste;

I find that I am not please with the quality of those that I buy

and wish to make my own. I need to know what type of knot is tied and

what mantras are repeated while tying the knots and any rituals that

need to be preformed when constructing it. I know the knots

represent Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva. Making my own would save a lot of

frustration and give me a thread that I am in tune with. Jai Maa

I have seen this along with a multitude of rudrakshas worn on the

head. I currently wear a neck mala containing 1 to 14 mukhi, a Gauri

Shankara and a Ganesha bead, plus small 5 mukhi beads during the day

and place it at Kali's feet at night. The thousand rudraksha sacred

thead would make sleeping a bit of a problem.

I want to know what knots are tied and what mantras are used when

tying them. And how to judge the length of the thread. Basic rules

for the construction on the Sacred Thread.

One who wears a thousand or 100 rudrakshas as a substitute for the

sacred thread will be loved by Lord Shiva. But with that comes otehr

obligations. I feel that is the best method but again that is just me.
