Guest guest
Namasthe There is a village by name Nimili nearer to Arokkonam Rly.station.it is also approachable by road from Chennai. A devotee of Devi (hailed from the relative of purvasram of paramacharyal.)One night he had a dream that Goddess Bala calling him to pick Her up from a river nearby next day morning.this pious man informed this to all people in the village to come to the river and search for Her. Heavy flood in the river suddenly did not allow them to swim and search.on that night he again dreamt Her warning why he should collect all the men.realising his fault he silently went and took bath in the river and found a very small idol(Only 3 inches)and felt very rejoicing he brought it to home and kept in his puja room and started to collect donation for constructing a temple for Her. That night he again dreamt the he need not beg for Her.She ordered that She liked to remain at his house only in a place which should be locked and opened at Her will.No vows or offerimng for a particular wish.Only chocolates or biscuit or peppermint are offered and distributed as prasadam.During Navarathri great musicians attend and conduct recitals and their mites r spent then and there on the same day. unless she wishes none can have darshan. one must visit and have her darsan without their request their desires r fulfilled. kaushik
