Guest guest
Namah Shivaya, The same symbolism of Fire/Light also comes in the more recent Sri Ramana Maharishi, widely considered an embodiment of Lord Subrahmanya- When He attained mahasamadhi, a huge ball of light was seen travelling slowly in the sky and merging into Sacred Arunchala... the son merged back in the father ... Another incident also in the life of Sri Ramana which is the same as in JnanSambandar- when Thiru Jnanasabandar came to the Ariyaninallur SHiva temple ( from where you can catch a distant glimpse of Arunachala), He had a vision of Light . Simlarly when Sri Ramana , on his first trip to Aruachala, when He was but a young boy, when he rested in Ariyaninallur temple, He had a similar vision of light .. Arunachala Siva .. bala >"miinalochanii" <miinalochanii > > > Re: ThirumuRai Series - 78 >Tue, 26 Mar 2002 19:47:50 -0000 > >, Subramanian Ganesh <sgesh> wrote: > > thirunyAna sambandhar thirukkaDaikkAppu > > thalam podhu (Common) > > paN kauchikam > > muunRaam thirumuRai > > > > thiruchchiRRambalam > > > > kaadhalaagik kachin^dhu kaNNiir malgi > > oodhuvaar thamai n^anneRikku uyppadhu > > veedham n^aanginum meypporuL aavadhu > > n^aadhan n^aamam n^amachchivaayavee > > > > thiruchchiRRambalam > > > > Meaning: > > Out of deep love melting, tears brimming > > one who chants, the Thing that elevates them to > > the auspicious path, the Truth that is established > > by the four vedhas, the Name of our Lord is > > namachchivAya. > > > > Notes: > > 1.
