Guest guest
I learned to chant Sri Suktam in a mixed group of Men and Women. One of the living embodiments of Divine Mother was touring the US; She was very particular about the pronunciation as She taught. Having learned it properly from a Woman, this idea of women not being allowed to chant Sri Suktam seems absurd. This is the woman I learned what I know of Sahasranama from as well. When I was chanting Sri Suktam 16 times daily is when I meet my guru and received diksha in Sri Vidya. I know the Sri Suktam chanting lead to meeting my guru. In my sampradaya the women chant and participate in all pujas, including chanting of the Sri Suktam. This is Kali yuga, Mother is accessible to all. It is not right to preclude the women; especially in this current age.
