Dear members,

 

I like Kaushik's answer- esp where it says that The Mother Herself will

guide one to the Guru. My humble opinion is that, if the LS is recited with

Love and Devotion, then The Mother Herself will guide the devotee to

whatever he/she needs- if the devotee needs a Guru , he will get a Guru, if

the devotee needs help with the pronunciation , he will meet some one who

will help him.

 

The Mother is Avyaja Karuna Moorthy.- UNCONDITIONAL mercy- if there is

devotion is the devotee's heart who does the LS, then the Mercy of the

Mother will guide him.

 

My own Guru (Ammachi) stresses the fact that above all things, Mother is the

repository of Infinite Love and Patience. She says that the Divine Mother

looks only into the heart of the bhakta and blesses accordingly. Therefore

Ammachi advocates LS chanting to almost everyone.

 

BUT as Ravi says, it is safest to follow one's Guru's words.

 

AND in case a person does not have a Guru- why not address Ambaal Herself

thus- 'O MOther, You are my everything . You are my GUru, and God and Self.

I am repeating these names out of Love for You . I am repeating these names

in order to gain Pure LOve for You. Please guide me. Mother , Whom else can

I turn to? O MOther - i want to come closer to You. If you feel that my

chanting these names are wrong , please correct me. If you feel that I need

a Guru to initiate me, please guide to one who will teach me about You'...
