dear all

could somebody enlighten me on the meaning of the word "Laangvam", "Musalam",

which are weapons in the hands of the deity.

Could somebody also give a detailed translation of the following verse

"Vandhe Varaaha Vakthraam Varamani mukutaam

Vidhruma Srothra Bhushaam

Haaragraiveya Thunga Sthana bara namithaam

Peetha Kowseya Vasthraam

Devim Dakshordhvam Hasthe Musalamadha

Varam Laangvam Vaam Kapaalam

Vaamaabhyam Tharayathi Kuvalaya Kalitham

Shyamalam Suprasanna"

This is Dhyana Sloka of Mother Varahi. Could you also explain the significance

of the weapons.
