I have recently been to Pudukkottai when I visited Avudayar koil, I had the

divine opportunity to have the darshan of Swamiji.It somehow struck me that I am

seeing him last and his holiness end is near..I am really sad to hear the news.I

am proud to inform this group that Swamiji took his first bhiksha in our house

when I was a child studying second form.It was a thrilling experience.he

cameafter his initiation from judge swamigal order and some years of penance He

must

have been hardly 25 years.He asked my mummy to make a mixed rice out of curd and

he took it by standing with folded hand on which my mother put two kavalams of

food which he took it like that only. it was a very divine experience his matted

hair was very long and stood like Lord Shiva.

 

After some years he asked my father to make arrangements for BhuvaneswariYagna

and my father was (Known as Gidia subramanya Iyer)leading it with his

guru by his side.After sometime he was also asked to make a purna Meru which he

did and he was no more within a year.Swamiji was very close to my father and

wondered how he could do all these things without attachment being a grahastha

with a dozen children. why I am saying this is: how lucky I am to have my father

as Guru.I am really blessed.

 

May that Great Soul bring Prosperity and happiness to all Members of this group.
