Guest guest
I do not understand clearly what jaybee's post means. I understand it when he says that it is a bija mantra which casts a spell on evil forces and has to be learnt under the direct teaching from a guru. But when he links it to the verse on Murugan where the Tamil word 'Kodi' or 'Koti' means the number 'a crore', I feel I am missing something of what jaybee is trying to convey. A clarification would be appreciated. Yours, profvk
Guest guest
Jaya Jaya Shankara ! Hum is called the kavacha. It protects one from evils. Phat is the Sphota or astra bija. It banishes Divya, Bhaumya and other evils and obstacles. Hoom is the Samhara Bija, with Bhadrakali as its presiding deity. Harshanandanatha! , Kalika Putra <dakinic_monk> wrote: > > I am not sure of dravidian mysticism nor religious texts but according to sanskrit Hum means cut ego. Again what you are saying is the truth ego is a form of evil but this is the specific target. This mantra works well with bijas, you will need a seed with which to use this I suggest a mantra that already has this and is one of the most popular and powerful mantras to Mother Chamundi/Shakthi. It is known as the Great mantra of 10 syllabels inconjunction with the hum phat. > > OM AIM HRIM KLEEM CHAMNUNDAYA VICCHE HUM PHAT SWAHA > > which means Om the almighty formless expressed as thought, desire and action with the power to destroy too much and too little and Vicche the goddess who removes fear Cut the ego without a doubt to this or purify. I am not sure as to how swaha is used in this mantra but that is what the crude meaning of the mantra. I am sorry I cannot provide a more accurate one since I am currently a bit too lazy. > > > > > SOLD.com.au- Find yourself a bargain! > >
