Meaning:

Oh Gold bodied ! Wearing the skin of tiger around

the waist, on the lightning like reddish matted hair

One Who wears the brilliant konRai flower ! Oh the

Excellent ! Oh the Great Gem ! Oh the Diamond (Ruby)

in mazapADi ! Oh my mother, other than You whom else

I can think of !

 

Notes:

1. When cun^dharar during his pilgrimage came to

thiruvAlampozil, in his dream the Lord asked, "Did

you forget to come to mazapADi ?" Excited, cun^dharar

rushed to mazapADi and sang the Lord, "My Lord, other

than You whom else I would think of ?!"
