Guest guest
Ganesh One of the meanings of kuzhai is "ear adornment". kuzhaik kaadhuDaiyAnE can be simply translated as "one whose ears are adorned" instead of "Ornated with ball in the ear". Latter is quite confusing. To stretch its meaning -- kuzhai also means to melt or make it soft. kaadhu instead ear, can be taken to mean "listen" as in "lend me your ear". Another meaning one who melts or becomes soft with compassion listening to His devotees pleas. Another aspect of "kuRaivila niRaivE" is HIS puurNatvam or completeness. niRaivu is puurNam and kuRaivila means with no shortcoming. Probably brings notion of HIS completeness as portrayed by puurNamadaH puurNamidam. Today I happened to go to the site http://www.geocities.com/nayanmars they have PDF texts (some with translation). Have you seen that. They and the associated links have a lot of MP3 files. Have you seen them?
